The Boutonniere

Our San Diego beach wedding packages includes bouquets for the ladies and a fresh flower boutonniere or kukui nut lei for the men.

If the guys are are going formal with tuxedos, suits or sport jackets, a fresh flower boutonniere (also called a "buttonhole") is a stylish wedding wardrobe accessory. If your men are going more casual with buttondown shirts or Tommy Bahama-style linen styles, then the kukui nut lei is the better choice.

Although the boutonniere is a seemingly small, and often overlooked accessory, there is no question that a sharply dressed groom, male attendant or father-of-the-bride with a beautiful fresh flower on his lapel, always looks distinguished and ready for any special event!

The sky is the limit with the boutonniere, too... a fresh red rose bloom with greenery, petite flowers backed with peacock feathers, or dried flowers with stems wrapped in vintage style burlap will help tie all your florals together.... we can even create your buttonholes using starfish, sealife and seashells!
